Today, the NASCAR Cup Series makes it’s debut in the St. Louis area. The 1.250-mile of WWT Raceway is set to host their very first sellout event.

Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 45 (1-45 / 240)
Green flag, Briscoe slides Cindric into turn one. Briscoe leads the field off turn two.
Lap 3, Ross Chastain dive bombs Almirola and Bell into turn three. Joey Logano has a run on both of them and they run four wide back into turn 1! Almirola wins that battle as Bell lifts and Logano loses momentum.
Lap 23, Briscoe leads Cindric by three car lengths. Briscoe works lap traffic.
Lap 28, Briscoe has a flat left rear! No caution as he pits under green. Austin Cindric is handed the lead.
Austin CIndric wins stage one at WWT Raceway!

Stage 2 – Report
Laps: 45 (46-90 / 240)
Chase Elliott makes two pit stops. He’ll restart in the rear.
Green flag on stage two, Cindric and Ryan Blaney run side by side into turn one. Blaney pinches him down off turn two. Back into turn one, Blaney drives it deep into turn one and nearly clears him. Cindric drives it deep to the bottom in turn three, he misses the corner and runs Blaney wide. Ryan Blaney finally clears him to take the lead.
Lap 58, Kyle Busch works slides Cindric for 2nd. Cindric crosses under him but Busch holds him off.
Lap 65, Ross Chastain has been struggling to pass Denny Hamlin. He lines up his bumper and shoves him into the corner. Hamlin finds the wall and the caution is out.
Blaney pits from the lead. Kyle Busch, Joey Logano and others stay out.
Green, Kyle Busch leads into turn one as Joey Logano takes over 2nd.
Lap 81
Lap 81, Hamlin is slow down the back and waiting on Ross Chastain. Hamlin runs Chastain all the way to the apron but they didn’t make contact. Hamlin is way off the pace.
Lap 94, Hamlin gets right in the path of Chastain. He slows him up significantly but no contact.

Lap 95, Ryan Blaney has a flat left rear. The caution is out.
Kyle Busch leads the field to the pit lane. Kyle Larson wins the race to the pit exit with two tires. 7 cars stay out.
Green, Michael McDowell is clear into turn one. Reddick gets loose and Almirola takes 2nd away.
Ross Chastain, Chase Elliott and Austin Dillon run three wide off turn four. They run out of room, Chase Elliott spins off turn four!
Green, McDowell is clear into turn one. Chase Elliott puts the bumper to Ross Chastain at the back of the field. Hamlin also rubs him on the way by!
Hamlin is blocking the hell out of Chastain. Chastain finally forces his way by.
Lap 120, McDowell leads Almirola by 0.3 seconds. Kyle Busch who pitted has only climbed to 6th.
Lap 130
Lap 130, Ricky Stenhouse Jr turns Bubba Wallace in turn three! Car owner Denny Hamlin saw that out of his windshield. Hamlin pulls in front of Stenhouse Jr and brake checks him but they don’t make contact.
Michael McDowell and most of the field hits the pit lane. Kurt Busch and many others stays out.
Pit Penalty: Tyler Reddick left his box with a fuel can and will drop to the rear.
Green, Kurt Busch clears Kyle Larson off turn two.
Kyle Busch is flying through the field on new tires but he’s running out of time.
2 to go in stage two, Martin Truex Jr is all over the bumper of Kurt Busch. Truex Jr is working the outside lane.

Kurt Busch and the others that stayed out his the pit lane. Martin Truex Jr, Kyle Busch and others stay out as they pitted late in stage two.
Green flag on stage three, Martin Truex Jr is clear into turn one.
70 to go, Truex Jr leads Kyle Busch by 1 second.
58 to go, Tyler Reddick spins off turn two , caution.
Truex Jr leads the field to the pit lane. Erik Jones wins the race to the pit exit with 2 tires. Truex Jr is off 7th with four tires.
Green, Rike Jones and Kyle Busch run side by side in turn one and off turn two. Kyle Busch drives it deep into turn three and clears Erik Jones.

50 to go, Joey Logano slides Erik Jones into turn three for 2nd.
40 to go, Ricky Stenhouse Jr spins off turn two on his own, caution.
Brad Keselowski is the first to pit, he was 16th. The leaders stay out.
Green, Kyle Busch clears Joey Logano into turn one. Logano drives it deep into turn three, they run side by side off turn four. Logano slides Busch into turn one. Joey Logano leads for the first time today.
20 to go, Logano leads Kyle Busch by 0.7 seconds.
19 to go, Cole Custer spins and the caution is out.
Green, Kyle Busch drives it deep into the corner on the outside lane. He clears Logano to take the lead!
10 to go, Kyle Busch gets loose. Logano closes right to his bumper but he can’t pull alongside. Kurt Busch is flying through the field behind them.
7 to go, Logano is all over the bumper of Kyle Busch for the win!
5 to go, Kevin Harvick is in the wall in turn three with brake failure! The caution is out.
Green flag in NASCAR overtime, Logano slides Kyle Busch into turn one. Kyle Busch crosses under him off turn two. Kyle Busch slides Logano in turn three but he runs too wide. Logano crosses under Kyle Busch
